Yesterday was Ayden's 2nd attempt at his first day of 4K. The actual 1st day of school was August 25th. We got up that morning after staying up late the night before and Ayden wasn't feeling too good. We thought that his stomach was just empty becuase he hadn't eaten much for supper the night before. We got dressed and took Ally Brynn to daycare. When I came outside to take Ayden to school, he was throwing up in a bag in my car. It was awful. Thanks to Kristy for all your help that morning. Sooo we headed home. Once we got home he was fine. He actually went into his room and came out dressed from head to toe in his camo gear. He exclaimed "I am going deer hunting mom," with this melt your heart smile on his face. He loves to flash this smile when he is saying something or doing something he knows isn't going to fly with me or Andy. I wanted to post some pics of his actual first day of school. He was soooo excited and bounced all over his seat on the way to school. I hope he always stays this enthusiast about school:-)

Happy 8th Anniversary Tootie!
Well today is our 8th anniversary. Where have the years gone? I am soooo extremely blessed to be married to such a wonderful man! You still hold my heart and I love you as much today as I did back in high school. I am adding this slide show with a few recent pics of you and I together. Thank you for making me the happiest woman in the world!

Play Time
Carley came over to play while her mom and dad went to meet her teachers. We had a blast playing in the yard and eating posicles. Here are a few pics.
Welcome
Hello All,
Welcome to the Westbury's new blog. This blog will serve as a journal and scrapbook for all of those small things in life I tend to forget. It will help me document all of the milestones of our children Ayden (4) and Ally Brynn (20 months). I will post our latest pics, quotes and memorable moments. I have been wanting to set up a blog for awhile but have just taken the time to sit down and get started. This is a learning process for me and I welcome any suggestions along the way.
OUR HISTORY -
To fill you in on our lives.... Andy and I met back in middle school. We were in the same class and he sat in front of me. He was so adorable but we didn't hang out in the same circle of friends. We met back up during my sophmore year in high school. We had an instant attraction for one another. Our relationship grew and on my 21st birthday, Andy proposed. I was in xray school at the time and we decided to be married the month after my graduation. On August 26th, 2000 we were married. We decided to start a family within 6 months after our wedding. However, God had other plans for us. For 2.5 years we tried for our first child. In September 2002, we found out we were pregnant. We were both ecstatic. There was such a relief for both of us to know that we could have children. And then it happened. At 5 weeks, we had a miscarriage. We were devastated. Why had this happened? Would we ever have a family? Was there something physically wrong with us? Everything that could possibly go through your mind during a situation like that, does. We stayed positive and followed our physicians orders. In February 2003, we were pregnant again. With this pregnany our first beautiful baby was born. Our son, Ayden Davis Westbury, was born October 3rd, 2003. We chose the name Ayden Davis by taking the letters of Andy's name and my maiden name. Ayden stole everyones heart from the minute he was born. He has always had a smile on his face or creating one on everyone else's. He is such a little ham and loves all the attention he can get. In April 2005 Andy and I were shocked to find out that we were pregnant again. We had not been trying and had assumed that it would take a little trying in order to conceive. On December 19th, 2006, we had our second beautiful baby. A girl. Her name is Ally Brynn. Ally is after my maternal grandmother Ali Christine and Brynn was a name I found in a magazine. We loved the way they sounded together. So southern. She is definitley a mama's girl. She wants me to hold her 24 hours a day and wants to do everything I do. To be honest, I wouldn't want it any other way. I LOVE that she wants her mommy. She has a personality very similiar to her big brother with lots of smiles and very outgoing. Our children have never meet a stranger, which sometimes I don't know if that is a good or bad thing. Andy and I feel very blessed to have such a perfect family. We don't take for granted one minute of time that God has given us to spend together.
